My Bucket List

   I think it is incredibly important to have a "bucket list" and I think it is equally important that we each strive to make sure that we can scratch most of these things off our list before we leave this beautiful earth. What good are dreams if we can't at least try everything in our power to make them realities, right? So, without further ado, here is my bucket list:


  1. Italy
  2. Las Vegas
  3. Parasailing 
  4. Meet Stephen King
  5. Go see Thirty Seconds to Mars
  6. Write my name in the sand
  7. Swim with dolphins
  8. See Casting Crowns
  9. Go to Boston and watch a Red Sox game
  10. Watch my Longhorns play
  11. And of course...see the Steelers play
  12. Meet my friend who lives in Australia
  13. Feed a Koala
  14. Jamaica
  15. Disney World
  16. Write a book
  17. Take my kids to San Diego
  18. Ride in a Hot Air Balloon
  19. Ride in a decked out Limo
  20. Drive a 64 1/2 Mustang Special
  21. Visit Arizona
  22. Touch a Gorilla 
  23. Meet Meryl Streep
  24. Cook with Guy Fieri 
  25. Get pampered and then go see "The Phantom of the Opera"
  26. Fly-Fishing
  27. White Water Rafting
  28. Visit the Hoover Dam
  29. Own a Two Story House with a Huge Kitchen
  30. Write a Cook-Book
  31. Go on a Cruise
  32. Hawaii
  33. Sing the National Anthem at a baseball game
  34. Shoot hoops with Manu Ginobili 
  35. Travel the entire United States with Kevin and the Kids
  36. Pay it Forward
  37. Make peace with my enemies
  38. Run a marathon
  39. Raise Awareness for Vasculitis
  40. See Michael W. Smith
  41. Camp in the middle of nowhere for a week
  42. Own a cabin
  43. Try every single Italian Dish
  44. Learn Italian, French and Greek
  45. Get my Doctorate in English
  46. Be my best Christian Self
  47. Spend more time with my friends and family
  48. Plant a Garden and not kill it
  49. Get a tattoo in memory of my grandmother
  50. Ride a roller coaster 
   And there ya have it...my bucket list. I encourage you all to make one. Who knows what tomorrow brings...for life is never a guarantee.
